The work is created through a process of material morphogenesis in which a jute fiber woven with a chain stitch develops directly on elastic volumes under tension, incorporating dried plant elements.

In the work’s morphogenesis, water is the medium through which transformation, growth, and stabilization occur. water becomes the invisible thread that connects the cellular turgidity of the plant—the Phytolacca, the Yucca—the formation of the membranes, and the final form of the work.

Phytolacca and Yucca, both native to the Americas, are botanical extremes in their relationship with water: the former grows in very humid areas, the latter in the desert.
